Inactive Teams / Sharepoint

There are organisations that create a huge number of temporary and/or test sites but never clean them up. These then become inactive but continue to exist without value. I would like to see these insightful and automatically send the owner a message with a choice of what to do with the teams site. For example, archiving.

Yes, that is the plan. Basically all properties of the connected objects of the object that is violating the check should be available in those notifications and automations.

And not only the site owner, but also the SharePoint manager/ IT Manager.

Discovering these unused sites and teams is already possible in Rencore Governance and check and segment templates can be found in the libraries to report and automate action on violations of those policies.

With automations you can currently send only single email addresses. The ability to send it to owners or members of a site or team is currently implemented and should be rolled out soon. Also with richter Power Automate automations you will be able to build complex flows, eg. to request the approval from the owner to archive a team.

We will also provide templates for such use cases.
